Newcastle Youth Enterprise Centre

The Newcastle Youth Enterprise Centre moved from its old home at 25 Low Friar Street to its new home in The Old Post Office at 3-5 Pink Lane in March 1998.

The premises have three main components:

• Three telecottages - one bedroom apartments with associated offices.
• Nine small offices for starter businesses, starting in price from under £40 fully inclusive, on an easy-in, easy-out basis incuding shared facilites and access to the Big Netty network.
• A modern training facility in the basement.

3-5 Pink lane, the Old Post Office, now home of the NYEC and the 'telecottages'

The old premises in Low Friar Street are now a residential block of flats, developed by a local Housing Association as part of the Grainger Town Initiative.
